Boho Industrial Chic Wedding Barn Venue Styling in Metallic Copper & Shades of Navy

Centred around bringing to life a celebration space that oozed boho-industrial chic; with gorgeous blooms, lush foliage, copper metalics, sat on a backdrop of navy blues, and rusty turquoise pops of colour. This talented team of South West UK based boho inspired suppliers includes several of our very own Approved Suppliers on The Guide Directory, so we are SUPER excited to share this with you!

The styled editorial was held at the brand new stunning wedding venue ‘The Grain Store’, with its touch of the wild outdoors through its Devonshire farmland, that rolls onto the beach where you can continue your celebrations, all whilst taking in the sea air and sensational views.

Boho-Industrial Inspiration & Styling

Leilah from Unity Event Design wanted to capture the magic of this stunning industrial barn venue, with its steel beams, wooden panelling and metallic copper detailing, and use it's outdoor natural vibe with the wild Devonshire countryside as inspiration for this styled shoot. Merging and blending the styles and reclaimed and recycled materials from the industrial and natural world to create balance in texture and colour.

Wedding Stationery with Metallic Detailing and those Extra Special Details

Julie Ann from Rocha Designs created the fabulous wedding stationery for this styled shoot, a mixture of bright blues with copper edging to reflect the rest of the styling. We think this is beautiful! It is also extra special when you are able to give your guests a sneaky peek of your wedding day styling when they recieve their wedding invite!

Lush Foliage Wedding Florals

The gorgeous lush green foliage and blooms for this shoot were created by Thorn Flowers, a Devon based wedding florist who strives to be environmentally conscious, sourcing blooms locally whilst also growing their own flowers and foraging for nature’s treasures. 'We love the added boho touches of soft pampas and the copper details to bring warmth to these florals'.

The Boho Industrial Barn Wedding Venue

Located in Kingsbridge, Devon, lies The Grain Store Weddings. A brand new wedding venue, nestled away on Lower Widdecombe Farm, a traditional working farm with fields rolling down to the sea. The Grain Store is magical place to celebrate your wedding and has a marriage license in 3 different locations on the farm, including down by the beach. It has space for up to 170 guests, a stylish bar, cartwheel chandeliers and fairy lights throughout. It comes with The Farmhouse which is across the farmyard and is luxurious accommodation for up to 14 people.

Wedding Food Platters  & Sweet Treats

Pretty Social Grazing, and Devon Cove supplied the amazing statement grazing platters and luxury hampers for the editorial. Always working with the concept in mind of the well known phrase ‘eating with your eyes’ they took inspiration from the rustic and countryside surroundings in which The Grain Store sits within.

The savoury & sweet platter was presented on natural wooden boards and they also introduced a metal cake stand to include a slight industrial feel to compliment the greys, and blues of the overall theme and decor of the wild industrial theme. Fresh colourful produce was used, adding natural foliage which just lifted the platter but to not over power what you might decide to tuck in to first.

The stunning 4-tier wedding cake was created by Claire's Sweet Temptations, and fitted perfectly with the boho industrial theme. Selecting various blue hues, textures and shapes of cake tier, added interest to the eye and created a real statement piece.

The Boho Bridal Look

The dress, a stunning design by Christine Trewinnard, shows her passion for unique styling and individually created pieces. This elegant soft ivory lace with blush undertones compliments the hint of copper in the full skirt beautifully.

The bridal hair by Toni Gogola Hair and make-up by Chloe Bond MUA aligned with the soft, and natural blush undertones of the bridal look.

A classic metallic geometric crown was selected from The Lucky Sixpence. The geometric shapes and copper colouring gave a subtle nod towards the boho industrial concept, and added an edge of 'feminine luxe' to the bride's overall look. The hairpins for the evening look were a mix of copper and gold in tone - again continuing the geometric industrial vibe but with a slightly softer feel with the Matisse style leaves

The Handfasting Ceremony

Our fabulous approved supplier, Nixie James-Scott from Unique Ceremonies conducted the handfasting ceremony, a practise where a couple demonstrate their committment to one another through having their hands tied together with a braided cord. Nixie created a cord with coppery tones and silver ribbons to echo the whole feeling of the venue and the styling.

Molten Wedding Ring Company supplied the stunning molten wedding rings for the editorial. They provide ethical, luxurious and timeless wedding rings in 8 different collections and various metals including Fairtrade gold. So if you are looking for a more organic, earthy style of wedding band, do browse their offerings.
