Lucy Harvey Sax  got the party started with her effervescing energy on the saxophone.

'I like to inject energy and fun into a wedding with live entertainment, particularly party style Ibiza sax! Performing next to the pool was perfect for this style of music.'

Spring Woodland Wedding Venue

This stunning shoot was held at the fabulous Beaconside House in North Devon. Beaconside is set in the heart of the countryside, just 5 minutes away from golden Devonshire beaches. Wedding couples and their guests enjoy complete privacy and exclusivity in this beautiful estate, the manor house, grounds, and woodlands, which is also a luxury getaway.

Colourful Wedding Flowers & Decor

Spring weddings are the perfect opportunity to take advantage of the bountiful, garden gathered florals created by Howie & The Flowers. And continuing the vibrant flower theme, the luxurious and unique cake was made by Peboroyon.

'After months of relentless grey rain, a bright vibrant shoot filled with colour and delicate romantic elements felt like a wonderful uplifting antidote!

We only use British grown blooms and foliages in our wedding work and are keen to showcase the diversity and beauty of seasonal ingredients available to couples throughout the year.
Whilst putting together the flower palette, we wanted to avoid the obvious connotations of an Easter colour scheme, so put aside the sugar pale tones of spring tulips and primroses and instead centred up the epic Colibri poppies in tutti-frutti shades of orange and lemon. They make a statement but yet have a delicacy and ephemeral beauty, almost floating above the Bridal bouquet or transcending the guests tables!
They complimented the equally striking panda anemones and punchy jewel-toned ranunculus. A sprinkling of tanacetum daisies and trailing lilac clematis combined with the glossy backdrop of camelia foliage and budding hawthorn and forsythia branches and the stage was set"

The new arch shaped stationery from Laura Likes was designed to reflect the floral arch supplied by the florist and celebrates native British spring blooms. Spring is the perfect time to plant seed paper so this was the chosen stock to print on to.

'When asked to collaborate on a styled shoot we were really delighted to join the team… as a venue stylist I love to take on board the clients ideas and dreams and with my passion for design, decor, props and love for creativity, I love the opportunity to bring their vision to life. Collaborating with a range of talented suppliers provides the opportunities to enrich the whole experience. '
Katie from Best Day Ever Venue Styling

'This fabulous spring styled shoot brought a range of amazing suppliers together that really brought the vision to life. Working alongside Laura to match the signage and stationery was really easy as we both loved each other’s ideas and created something that would really work for the shoot. The shoot was a great way to showcase that even if you’re planning lots of colours or something different, that black and white signage can really hit the brief and can be complimented in different ways.'

'When creating the cake for this shoot we had to go for sugar flowers! It’s one of our passions. And then there’s the floral crown! Which is perfect for having fresh flowers with the cake as well.'

Claire & Dan from Peboroyon

'The confetti is bespoke in a sense that colours are chosen for the occasion and had mixed with love to create a unique blend of petals.'

Springtime Bridal Wear & Accessories

From the romance of the dreamy lace ballgown to the elegance of the gorgeous fitted crepe dress to the fun 2 piece corset & trouser set, all embodied the fresh celebratory vibe of the shoot. The beautiful bridal outfits were provided by the Devon based bridal boutique Always and Forever Bridal. (Brands Sincerity Bridal & Tania Olsen Bridal). Modelled by the wonderful Georgina Gillies.

My jewellery designs blend nature's graceful forms and whimsy romantic elements together. I loved the overall prettiness of this shoot, with its delicate fresh colourful flowers and lots of fun elements. I also loved being able to add to the romantic and fun styling with my solid Silver and Gold flower and seeds designs. Bee Lavish

'Make up for this style of spring blooms and the dreamy romantic venue I knew I wanted to keep a fairly neutral coloured pallette with a pop of peachy blush and lip. I used a corner lash to really open the eye to give a fresh appearance to the overall look paired with Tom Ford eyeshadows. I wanted to even out skin tone and for longevity Charlotte Tilbury Airbrushed foundation was a must! The hair I wanted it to be soft and loose with texture to match the dreamy fabrics of the dress. Keeping it off the neck is not only elegant but also practical for the bride too.'

Beauty By Cathy

'Inspired by the essence of spring, our fingertip veil is edged with embroidery and delicately cut out for a beautifully organic feel. I don’t always get the opportunity to attend styled shoots in person, so it was so special to work collaboratively and see the whole style come together.'
