Environmentally Sustainable Work Practises
The ethos behind my business is to shop small and sustainably. Now, more than ever our small local businesses need every bit of support they can get to keep them going and to keep Cornwall going as a county. Every wedding designed, styled and planned by myself will only use small businesses. The aim is to only use businesses in Cornwall, but where this is not possible the alternative will be a small business within the U.K. I also ensure the weddings I design, style and plan will not leave a mark on the planet. Plastic will not be used throughout the day, where possible decorations will either be hired or recycled and the venues and suppliers I use will also have a green ethos! I’m a big believer that weddings should not impact the planet and I want to help with this.
Over Deliver
When I set my business up, I actually created a mission statement and 5 guiding principles (I know right, who does that anymore), but the guiding principles (my favourite being “surprise and delight”) are what I stand by and are what remind me to constantly exceed expectations, of my clients but also the suppliers I work with.

The Little Details By Sophie has been vital to my wedding plans coming together. My partner and I had no idea what we wanted, just a few random ideas which didn't link. She was excellent at creative suggestions, at keeping me sane and keeping planning fun, rather than a chore. Whether I needed her to design a themed table plan, find bridesmaid flowers on a tiny budget, find vendors or just rant about issues I was coming up against, she was there. Sophie always replied very promptly, with great solutions or sources of inspiration, and I believe she genuinely enjoyed every part, no matter how indecisive I was. Professional and passionate, she was dependable and helpful, and really knows what she's doing. Sophie will treat you more like a family member than a client! I highly recommend her if you want a stress free and exciting planning process for a beautiful eco wedding.
