Hi, we are Peter and Lisa, we live in the beautiful countryside of North Devon and enjoy welcoming guests to our stunning location overlooking the Taw River Valley.
We have been creating amazing holiday spaces for guests to relax and unwind in since 2015. During that time we have been priviliged to have had many engagements, mini-moons and anniversary celebrations take place on our grounds and just love that couples choose to mark special times in their lives here at Little Silver. We look forward to making one of the most important days of your life truly special.
We moved to North Devon in 2014 with the dream of renovating our beautiful Victorian property. From the moment we saw Little Silver we fell in love. What's not to like! With its stunning views and gorgeous architecture, we knew we wanted to call this house "home". We spent five years lovingly restoring it, never ceasing along the way to be amazed at the wonderful sunrise and sunsets captured from the terrace.
Sharing Little Silver with others felt like a natural progression, and we have loved creating unique holiday accommodation where guests can enjoy the grounds and views as much as we do. We renew the experience of all that Little Silver has to offer each time a guest tells us what a great stay they have had here. This brings us a huge sense of pleasure.
We have since gone on to win awards for the best view from a hot tub, and also for the best romantic accommodation. As we have restored the house and landscaped the grounds, wherever possible we have used sustainable and eco-friendly solutions including solar panels, EV charging and a biomass boiler.

Your Intimate Wedding Venue in the Devon Countryside
For your luxury intimate boho wedding, our capacity is between 2-12, and we offer up to 7 locations in the grounds or inside the Atrium of Little Silver Nugget. For an intimate ceremony of just 2 plus the registrar and witnesses, we offer the Victorian grotto by the pond; hidden away under the hill, this rock lined grotto is fed by a small spring that streams away into the pond.
Or, why not use the Wivvy itself for your ceremony? With a similar capacity, it can be decorated with lovely hangings, romantic lights and a tiny wood burning stove flickering away if you're tying the knot when it's snowing outside!
For larger ceremonies you can set up on a platform next to the pond with the view beside you, on the verandah of the house with the ornamental doors framing unique stained glass behind, or even on the area in front of the house with the view of the Taw Valley behind and maybe a decorated arch to frame the extraordinary view. It's up to you - there are so many options ripe for making your boho celebration 'just so'.
By the way, we've teamed up with some amazingly creative professionals to make sure your experience is unforgettable. Our packages start with hire of the venue for your ceremony plus a 3 night stay in our sumptuous accommodation Little Silver Nugget and private use of the award winning hot tub, with inclusive packages available where we provide catering, photography, cake, flowers and so on. Your intimate boho wedding could include an elegant, seated fine-dining experience or a luxury picnic on the lawn overlooking the river valley.

Environmentally Sustainable Work Practises
Throughout our redevelopment journey here at Little Silver we have had an eye on the environmental costs of making changes to our Victorian property and its' ornamental grounds. We've replaced old oil boilers with sustainable biomass, and implemented two separate solar arrays to capture the West Country sunshine and offset our carbon consumption. All our Shepherd huts benefit from wood burning stoves and chiminea that use wood we have harvested from our own trees, and our guests can make use of EV chargers if they've moved away from conventionally fuelled cars..
