Jacki was our celebrant for our civil partnership blessing, which we held with 27 family members, out in the wilds of Dartmoor. It was a fabulous ceremony, much enjoyed by us all, and Jacki's positivity and wonderful energy really shone through (helping to make up for the weather not being totally on our side!) Putting together the ceremony was straightforward, Jacki sent us some questions to get us thinking about the areas we wanted to cover. She proposed some lovely ideas which we followed up on (we had a sand blending kind of ritual to unite our two families). Jacki provides direction in a lovely, subtle yet extremely helpful way, which won't surprise you when you get to know her caring and thoughtful manner. She is reliable and considerate, eloquent, fun and big-hearted....we would have no hesitation in recommending her as a wonderful celebrant. Jacki was absolutely lovely and created such a wonderful and personal ceremony for us from incorporating so many different and personal elements to creating a wonderful keepsake box for us to take home. In the words of my new husband she did “everything and more”. We chose to take part in a hand-fasting ceremony and Jacki gave us the option of a more modern take with tying our own knot and was open to us adding extra ideas like getting the cord wet when finished. She was a beacon of knowledge with telling us what each different colour of cord meant. We also collected some sand from our exact spot which was a wonderful keepsake. M & C - June 2022

Jacki was lovely, friendly and engaging. She helped us to plan our ceremony when we didn’t quite know where to start. Jacki helped us to curate all of our ideas and to create a sentimental ceremony; she did this by asking questionnaires and including anything that we felt to be important, whilst also offering ideas that we never even thought of and helping us to create an even better ceremony! We had our wedding ceremony with Jacki in September and we could not have been happier. Jacki took the time to get to know us prior to the ceremony and through speaking to both us and our families, she was able to write a beautiful ceremony that made us feel like she had known us for many years. On meeting Jacki her warmth and kindness is immediately noticeable. She put us at ease before she had even spoken. You can tell that this is not just a job for Jacki, she genuinely enjoys getting to know people and hearing their stories. Jacki is a very skilled writer, she is a great listener and has a fantastic sense of humour. Jacki made our day really special and we are so grateful to have found her. She is one in a million.

I contacted Jacki about renewing our vows to celebrate10 years of marriage and to involve our children into it. What a lovely lady!! We did a family unity ritual and Jacki did a gorgeous fairytale story involving the kids. JACKI'S ATTENTION TO DETAIL WAS AMAZING! We had a last minute beach change and nothing was an issue, she was very calm. Her husband and daughter helped to set the area up on the beach and even take a few photos for us as we couldn’t get a photographer last minute. Myself, my husband and children were very pleased and really enjoyed it and will cherish the memories forever. Thank you so much! xxx

As soon as I spoke to Jacki, I knew she was the Celebrant for us! She immediately put me at ease and took the time to really find out all of our history/story/feelings so that she could create a personal and intimate ceremony for us. Jacki also included our friends and family in the ceremony with her words and that just was absolutely so perfect and special. The handfasting cords and charms that were chosen were again so perfect and suited us, the fact that Jacki took so much time and thought to choose these made it feel extra special! Jacki had to go out of her comfort zone to climb down the cliffs and perform the ceremony - for this we will be forever grateful and thankful we chose someone who made sure our day was absolutely perfect for us!! The ceremony was personal, intimate, magical and thoughtful in every way.
