You are in for a treat today! With this stunning Bohemian Gardens inspired shoot at the magnificent 13th Century Maunsel Manor House hidden amongst the Somerset countryside.

Sara helps couples who want a rustic boho wedding solve their wedding planning stresses so they can have the wedding of their dreams.

Sara shares the journey she went on with her team to put the shoot together...

'The idea for the shoot came from an image of an alfresco dining set up shared by Jen on The Boho Bride Guide Instagram Handle.

The colour palette was inspired by the sensational head dress by Clare Lloyd Accessories. I knew that I wanted to use the head dress and built the colour palette around the orange and mint ribbons of the accessory. I added in a paler peach, charcoal grey and accents of gold to complement the coral and mint'.

The Bridal Look

When designing The Quartz Dress, Rose Savage Bridal wanted it to exude romance and sultry vibes, taking influence from 1930s cocktail parties and dramatic windswept vistas. Metres of soft georgette float freely in the wind making it a perfect getaway gown for a lovestruck princess, or a dramatic coastal elopement dress.

This shoot gave Chloe Bond MUA an opportunity to showcase how she can create beautiful flawless skin teamed up with effortless natural hairstyling. Chloe could not have been more blessed to have model Nicola to get ready for this shoot. With beautiful afro hair and stunningly clear complexion she set about to create her vision for an effortless chic look.

Diane Hassall is an exceedingly passionate and talented shoe artist who has designed footwear alongside industry experts throughout her career. She has combined this wealth of experience with her phenomenal eye for design, by creating her own range of gorgeous wedding shoes and unique shoe accessories, which marry her flair for fashion with her passion for designing beautiful, hand-crafted shoes.

Once again inspired by florals and natural forms, Di Hassall’s new collection is a fusion of textures and colour. Simple, well-cut shoe shapes, in butter-soft pastel-coloured suedes, are the blank canvas for Di’s gorgeous embroidered hand-sewn embellishments using a combination of colourful embroidery, silk ribbon work and diamanté encrusted detail.

Handmade Wedding Accessories

Bish Bosh Becca creates handmade wedding jewellery so the bride, her maids and flower girls can have the perfect finishing touches to their outfits. For this Bohemian Gardens editorial shoot, all that was needed was the perfect pair of decorative statement hoop earrings to tie the dress and head dress together.

Clare Lloyd Accessories designs are inspired by beautiful flowers, the timeless elegance and romance of bygone eras, and all things botanical as well as the unique and wonderful women she is lucky enough to work with.

Creating beautiful bridal accessories and jewellery for women to wear on the most special and memorable day of their lives is such a privilege and joy for Claire and she feels very lucky to be able to be a little part of so many happy memories.

All of Claire's headpieces are meticulously made by hand by me using old fashioned couture techniques. Working from her light filled studio in Frome, Somerset in the English countryside - she now delivers to brides worldwide.

The Stunning Venue

Maunsel House, is set in 100 acres of stunning parkland at the heart of a sprawling 2,000 acre estate, comprising of farms, lakes, woodlands, walnut groves, orchards. Maunsel House has a reputation of being relaxed, flexible and friendly with weddings ranging from the tastefully traditional to the daringly different, from the formal dining experience to the luxurious laid-back affair.

Positioned within the Victorian walled garden and cushioned alongside a traditional apple orchard is the pergola, a picturesque hidden gem perfect for weddings and celebrations. Nestled amongst an idyllic beautiful English country garden full of fragrant English roses, scented jasmine, and honeysuckle, the pergola offers those wishing for an ultra-laid back affair. The perfect outdoor ceremony space for up to 170 loved ones.

The Outdoor Wedding Ceremony

Sam the Celebrant is a fun loving, open minded, modern celebrant who is ready to kickstart your big day with a bang! Sam creates unique, personalised ceremonies that ooze personality, love and warmth, ceremonies that truly reflect who you are as a couple, She believes life is all about love and celebration – and your day should absolutely be all about you! We totally agree!

Justin Duance is a small jewellery team based in Cornwall, they hand make all their jewellery from their little workshop just outside Penzance, using ethically sourced diamonds and gemstones and recycled precious metals.

?Inspired by their natural surroundings, Justin Duance is best known for their rustic and unique wedding and engagement rings. The pieces in this shoot are cast in beach sand, the sand creates a lovely subtle texture and tiny grains are captured in the gold. Choosing your own sand for casting is a lovely way of personalising your rings. The engagement ring features cluster of fully traced Australian brown diamonds which twinkle beautifully.

The Wedding Cake

Claire’s Sweet Temptations is an award winning wedding cake designer. Claire’s aim is simple, It’s to give her couples the cake of their dreams for their big day. For this shoot the feel was relaxed alfresco. So the the cake was softly draped fondant with dried flowers to match the rest of the beautiful flowers on the day.

Wedding Grazing Platters

Jax’s Cakes n Bakes chose a selection of sharing platters to complement the relax boho vibes of the wedding. Platters were filled with cheeses, crackers, cured meats and fresh fruits. Displaying down the middle of the table, is a perfect way to create that relaxed atmosphere during the wedding breakfast.

Wedding Wildflower Florals

Tilda Rose Floristry is a floral design company based in Taunton. With a background in the arts and floristry along with fashion and textiles, Sarah the Founder of Tilda Rose, has a natural eye for creativity.

The aim for the hanging cloud was to create a stunning focal piece to adorn the alfresco dining table. Sarah used a mix of dried grasses flowers and seed heads, including diverse shapes and textures to create layers of interest which she accentuated with fresh coral charm peonies, quick sand roses to add that luxe romantic element and fresh grasses to add some movement.

Sarah used a mixture of pampas grass, allium seed heads, dried hydrangea, wheat grasses bunnies tail, honesty reed grasses and fresh coral charm peonies, quick sand roses and fresh grasses.

Sarah from Tilda Rose Floristry, also made a bohemian style bouquet with a luxurious and romantic feel, using a mix of dried grasses, flowers and seed heads to create layers of pattern texture and form. Coral charm peonies, quick sand roses, geum and orlaya were added as the focal flowers, to add a softness and elegance, and it was finished with a trailing silk ribbon.

Lorraine from Caboodle Designs creates award winning, beautiful wedding stationery, including luxury boxed invitations, vellum wraps and new wax seal designs made from her Devon studio.

Photography & Videography

Laura from Freeformimages Photography is known for her relaxed and romantic style of photography. Laura captures those special moments that could quickly be missed. From that moment your eyes meet for the first time as you make your way down the aisle, to capturing those intricate details you have worked so hard for to get perfect.

?She uses natural light, no flash, and loves capturing the moment as it happens. Laura is a force of nature on an editorial shoot, working tirelessly to get that perfect shot at every point throughout the day. She loves participating in styled shoots as they enable her to let her creatively run wild and work with amazing like minded people.

Sally from Capture Weddings created a stunning film for this editorial shoot that truly brings to life the romance and magic of the day. She loves to capture real emotion in her films, so working on the Bohemian Gardens wedding editorial with a beautiful real couple and their equally gorgeous children got all her creative juices pumping. Sally loved how tactile and intimate Nicola and Joe were and the interaction with their kids was just the cutest.
