Cosy Autumn Barn Wedding with an Outdoor Woodland Ceremony and Rustic Boho Decor

We just love a rustic boho autumn wedding here at The Boho Bride Guide, and that is exactly what we have to share with you this week on our wedding inspiration blog.

Manuela from Two Become One Wedding Planner and her team of London & South East wedding suppliers, beautifully put together this shoot to showcase their talent, and give us some major rustic boho wedding vibes. Providing an outdoor ceremony, barn wedding reception and the most beautiful rustic decorations, all captured by the talented Sonder Lust Photography.

Having always loved all things boho and growing up surrounded by eclectic, hippy boho styles of her wonderful era, which Manny believes shaped her own way of looking at the world and how she expressed herself growing up, the boho style is what Manny is most drawn to. Therefore, it was no surprise that when she had her own rustic boho wedding and became a wedding planner, she wanted her niche to be in planning rustic boho weddings.

The Rustic Barn Wedding Venue

This shoot took place at the beautiful rustic wedding venue of Oak Tree Barn, set in the heart of Kent. This old stable Barn is full of charm and character and serves as the perfect backdrop for you to create your perfect wedding day. Modernised but still retaining its original rustic ambiance, the Oak Tree Barn creates an atmosphere that is both enchanting and romantic.

Manny shared with us her inspiration behind the shoot;

"I love following venues and wedding suppliers that also inspire this boho style and who show off a rustic boho theme in their products/services, and how they present their space. So when I visited Oak Tree Barn Weddings, I knew I had to absolutely have my styled shoot there, it is a gorgeous eclectic bohemian wedding venue for the free-spirited and people who want something different. I knew we could maximise all the wonderful parts of the venue, setting up our lovely tablescape in their gorgeous barn, the fabulous hat tipi for the lounge area, to the pretty ceremony area where we were able to showcase all the gorgeous rustic boho decor in the instagrammable areas of this lovely venue. So we knew our love story in the woods with a beautiful boho woodland vibe shoot would fit perfectly at Oak Tree Barn wedding venue."

An Outdoor Rustic Boho Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony aisle was decorated with a vintage persian style rug, glass potted pampas grass and rustic hay bale benches, this really added to the cosy autumnal theme and overall rustic barn vibe. The Prop Library supplied the Vintage Furniture, Props and Table Decor for this shoot which was fit with this venue perfectly.

The romantic outdoor ceremony was held by wedding celebrant Natalie Davies from Rose & Grace Ceremonies and Your Confetti supplied the colourful biodegradable confetti which was used after the ceremony. Oak Tree Barn is one of Natalie's favourite local venues to work with, it has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, which is a match made in heaven with a boho-style wedding, and with a ceremony that's less formal, and more fun!

Rustic Wedding Venue and Table Decor

The barn wedding reception was filled with warm earthy tones, rustic charm and romantic candlight, all props supplied and styled by The Prop Library alongside the team and Manuela.

The team kept the table decor on theme, with warm tones, candlesticks, dried floral centrepieces and boho inspired place settings, complementing the outdoor autumnal decor.

The modern wedding invites were designed by Hardings Wedding Stationery, the design fit in perfectly with the mood board presented and looked beautiful against the warm autumn tones.

The Prop Library also provided the stunning lounge furniture in the tipi area which added a cosy bohemian touch to the venue decor. When they were sent Manny's inspiration board with boho elements and an autumnal colour palette, they knew their new collection of vintage pieces would fit in perfectly.

Romantic Bohemian Wedding Flowers

These gorgeous floral arrangements were created by Holly and the Ivy Floristry, offering a romantic bohemian touch to the decor. Holly also created the bountiful bridal bouquet and groom button holes for the shoot

Rustic Autumn Inspired Wedding Cake

The stunning 3 tier wedding cake was created by All Shapes & Slices, a winning cake supplier based in Kent. They create contemporary & artistic wedding cakes in your choice of delicious flavours to ensure that they taste as good as they look. All Shapes & Slices focused on rich autumnal colours for the cake design and added some dried florals to fit in with the rustic boho theme.

Artisan Cakes and Confections created the delightful macaroon tower which completed the cake display table.

Bohemian Lace Wedding Dress

IndieBride London supplied this stunning lace long sleeve wedding dress for the shoot which was the perfect bohemian style dress. The ceremony bridal look was completed with a floral fedora hat and heeled boots for the ultimate autumn boho bride style. We are just in love!

The second wedding dress for the reception was also had long sleeves but this time with beautiful embrodiery and v neckline. Another grogeous dress supplied by IndieBride London.

The heirloom quality bridal gowns and accessories from IndieBride London are handmade and designed in London by makers who are passionate about creating beautiful, handcrafted and comfortable pieces. All of their gowns are made to order, which means you can add your personal touch and make it truly unique to you and your style.

Hair & Makeup was styled by Andra from “I Do” Bridal Services who loves to focus on fresh glossy looking skin, soft glam makeup and effortlessly looking hair. Andra opted for natural loose waves for the first bridal hair look and a beautiful braided updo for the second look, whilst adding a subtle bronze glam to the bridal makeup.

For the wedding ceremony the groom wore a rustic checkered effect brown full suit from Next, with a red bow tie to match in with the autumn colours of the shoot. For the evening, the goom changed into something more comfortable, keeping his checkered suit trousers the team opted to switch out his white shirt and waistcoat for a red shirt with braces.

Authentic Wedding Photography

Sonder Lust Photography is an authentic storyteller photographer, based ased in Cambridge but travels across the UK. Laura loves to focus on natural light, earthy tones and the textures of nature. We think she has captured the authenticity and uniqueness of this shoot beautifully.

Videography was filmed by Chris Jerome James who is a UK and destination videographer based in Essex. Chris loves to capture cool, quirky and fun weddings and to create a lasting memory for his couples.

When the team came together, Manny knew that they all shared a love of all things boho, and she tells us how genuinely proud she is to have worked with a super talented group of amazing wedding suppliers, and bringing them together with her passion for boho weddings was just truly magical and wow doesn’t it show!
